Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 4 pieces chicken thighs bone-in, skin-on
  • 1 cup buttermilk for marinating
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour for coating
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
Hot Honey Sauce
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar

Method
 

Prepare the Chicken
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the buttermilk, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken thighs and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. In another bowl, mix the flour with a pinch of salt and pepper. Dredge the marinated chicken in the flour mixture, shaking off excess.
Bake the Chicken
  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the coated chicken thighs on it.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.
Prepare the Hot Honey Sauce
  1. In a small saucepan, combine honey, hot sauce, and apple cider vinegar. Heat over low heat until warmed and well combined.
Serve
  1. Drizzle the hot honey sauce over the baked chicken before serving.
