Ingredients
  

Chocolate Fondue Base
  • 1 cup leftover chocolate any type of chocolate
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream for a creamy texture
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract optional for flavor
Dipping Items
  • 1 cup strawberries fresh, hulled
  • 1 cup marshmallows mini or regular
  • 1 cup banana slices fresh
  • 1 cup pretzels for a salty contrast

Method
 

Prepare the Chocolate Fondue
  1. In a double boiler, combine the leftover chocolate and heavy cream. Heat gently, stirring until melted and smooth.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract if using.
Serve
  1. Transfer the melted chocolate mixture to a fondue pot and keep warm.
  2. Arrange the dipping items on a platter around the fondue pot.
  3. Use skewers or forks to dip the fruits, marshmallows, and pretzels into the chocolate.
