  • 1 cup rolled oats old-fashioned
  • 1/2 cup almond butter or any nut butter
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup for vegan option
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts walnuts or pecans
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the pitted cherries, rolled oats, almond butter, honey, chopped nuts, and chia seeds.
  2. Use a food processor to blend the mixture until it is well combined but still has some texture.
  3. Once mixed, scoop out tablespoon-sized portions and roll them into balls.
  4. Place the energy balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up before serving.
