Ingredients
  

Fresh Ingredients
  • 6 medium Roma tomatoes diced
  • 1 medium onion finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 small jalapeño pepper seeded and minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro chopped
  • 1 lime juice freshly squeezed
Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

Prepare the Ingredients
  1. Dice the Roma tomatoes, finely chop the onion, mince the garlic, and jalapeño pepper. Chop the cilantro.
Blend the Salsa
  1. In a blender, combine the diced tomatoes, onion, garlic, jalapeño, cilantro, lime juice, salt, cumin, and black pepper.
  2. Blend until desired consistency is reached, either smooth or chunky.
Serve
  1. Transfer the salsa to a mixing bowl and let it sit for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  2. Serve with tortilla chips.

Notes
