Prepare the Strawberry Mixture

- In a mixing bowl, whisk together heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until the sugar is dissolved.
Churn the Ice Cream
- Pour the ice cream base into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
Add Strawberries
- Gently fold in the macerated strawberries into the churned ice cream.
Freeze the Ice Cream
- Transfer the ice cream to a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 2 hours until firm.
Prepare the Chocolate Coating
- In a saucepan, melt dark chocolate chips and coconut oil over low heat until smooth. Remove from heat.
Serve
- Scoop the ice cream into bowls and drizzle with melted chocolate. Serve immediately.
