Ribs
  • 2 lbs pork ribs baby back or spare ribs
Sauce
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce your favorite brand
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix together the barbecue sauce, apple cider vinegar, honey, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Rub the ribs with the sauce mixture, ensuring they are well coated.
Cooking
  1. Place the ribs in the crockpot, standing them up if necessary to fit.
  2. Pour any remaining sauce over the ribs.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours, until the ribs are tender.
Serving
  1. Remove the ribs from the crockpot and let them rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  2. Serve with additional barbecue sauce if desired.
