Ingredients
  

Cookie Base
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Toppings
  • 1 cup Easter candy such as chocolate eggs, jelly beans, or pastel M&Ms
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup sprinkles optional

Method
 

Prepare the Cookie Base
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the vanilla extract and eggs, mixing until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Spread the cookie dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, shaping it into a pizza-like round.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden.
Add Toppings
  1. Remove the cookie base from the oven and let it cool slightly.
  2. While still warm, sprinkle the Easter candy and white chocolate chips evenly over the top.
  3. Add sprinkles if desired.
  4. Allow to cool completely before slicing and serving.
