Ingredients
  

Chicken Wings
  • 2 pounds chicken wings drumettes and flats
Gochujang Sauce
  • 1/4 cup gochujang Korean chili paste
  • 1/4 cup honey for sweetness
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce for umami flavor
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil for richness
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger grated
Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds for topping
  • 2 stalks green onions sliced

Method
 

Prepare the Chicken
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chicken wings with salt and pepper.
Make the Sauce
  1. In another bowl, whisk together gochujang, honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger until smooth.
Coat the Wings
  1. Pour the sauce over the chicken wings and toss until evenly coated.
Bake the Wings
  1. Arrange the wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Bake for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through, until wings are crispy and cooked through.
Serve
  1. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.

Notes
