  • 1 lb ground beef preferably lean
  • 4 cups broccoli florets fresh or frozen
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce low sodium recommended
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce optional
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 inch ginger fresh, grated
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil for cooking
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch optional, for thickening
  • 1 cup beef broth or water

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in broccoli florets and cook for another 3-4 minutes until tender.
  5. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and beef broth. Stir well to combine.
  6. If using, mix cornstarch with a little water and add to the skillet to thicken the sauce, cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  7. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
