Ingredients
  

Kofta Meatballs
  • 1 lb ground lamb
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh mint, chopped
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 egg beaten
Tzatziki Sauce
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 small cucumber, grated and drained
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Method
 

Prepare the Kofta Meatballs
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground lamb, onion, garlic, parsley, mint, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, pepper, and beaten egg. Mix until well combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  3. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet and refrigerate for 15 minutes to firm up.
Cook the Kofta Meatballs
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through and browned.
Prepare the Tzatziki Sauce
  1. In a bowl, mix together Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, garlic, dill, lemon juice, and salt until smooth.
  2. Refrigerate the tzatziki sauce until ready to serve.
Serve
  1. Serve the lamb kofta meatballs with tzatziki sauce on the side.
