Ingredients
  

Pasta
  • 12 oz penne pasta or any pasta of choice
Sauce
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup vegetable broth
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
Garnish
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil chopped

Method
 

Cooking the Pasta
  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  2. Add cherry tomatoes, vegetable broth, and heavy cream. Stir to combine.
  3. Bring the mixture to a simmer, then add the penne pasta, dried basil, and dried oregano. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Cover and cook for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is al dente and the sauce has thickened.
Finishing Touches
  1. Remove from heat and stir in grated parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  2. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil and additional parmesan cheese if desired.

Notes
