Ingredients
  

Halibut Fillets
  • 4 pieces halibut fillets about 6 ounces each
Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
Cooking Oil
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
Lemon
  • 1 whole lemon for juice and garnish
Fresh Herbs
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

Prepare the Halibut
  1. Pat the halibut fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
Heat the Skillet
  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
Cook the Halibut
  1. Carefully place the halibut fillets in the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F and the fish flakes easily with a fork.
Serve
  1. Remove the halibut from the skillet, squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top, and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
