Ingredients
  

Fresh Ingredients
  • 2 cups fresh pineapple, diced Use ripe pineapple for best flavor.
  • 1 medium red bell pepper, diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped Can substitute with parsley if desired.
  • 1 medium jalapeño, seeded and minced Adjust based on heat preference.
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice Freshly squeezed is best.
Seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper Freshly ground is recommended.

Method
 

Prepare the Ingredients
  1. Dice the fresh pineapple, red bell pepper, and red onion. Mince the jalapeño and chop the cilantro.
Mix the Salsa
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the diced pineapple, red bell pepper, red onion, cilantro, and jalapeño.
  2. Add lime juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine all ingredients.
Serve
  1. Serve immediately with tortilla chips, or as a topping for grilled meats or tacos.

Notes
